Kristina Kim is a Research Fellow at the University of Edinburgh's School of Social and Political Science, affiliated with the Global Health Policy Unit. She contributes to the UKRI-funded project 'Local Health and Global Profits' and has held tutoring roles in public health and epidemiology.

Her research focuses on global health policy, decolonizing global health frameworks, and the interplay between evidence and policy decision-making. She investigates commercial determinants of health and employs qualitative methodologies for health research and knowledge exchange.
Publications highlight her expertise in global health partnerships (2025), experimental political science (2023), and pandemic-era educational transformations (2022). Her work spans policy reviews, evidence synthesis, and stakeholder engagement.
Teaching engagements include critical research appraisal (2025), population health policy (2020-2022), and epidemiology instruction (2019-2020). She co-organized Edinburgh's Decolonising Global Health student conferences (2020).
