Kristina Grob

Kristina Grob is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of South Carolina Sumter, where she also serves as Chair of the Division of Science, Mathematics, and Engineering and Chair of the Division of Business Administration and Economics. She holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Loyola University Chicago (2014), alongside multiple advanced degrees in Philosophy and Women's and Gender Studies. Her research focuses on ethics, feminist philosophy, and the intersection of philosophy with literature, particularly exploring the role of silence in moral transformations and societal structures.

Dr. Grob has presented her work at conferences such as the Alabama Philosophical Society and the New Mexico Texas Philosophical Society, and her article 'Tracking the Transformation from Structural Silence to Harmful Silencing' was published in the Southwest Philosophical Studies (2017). She teaches courses like Introduction to Philosophy and Contemporary Moral Issues, emphasizing inclusive pedagogy and metacognitive skill development.
