Kristin N. Riley

Kristin N. Riley is an Associate Professor of Instruction at The University of Texas at Dallas, affiliated with the Harry W. Bass Jr. School of Arts, Humanities, and Technology. She specializes in War Literature, Memorial Architecture, and Writing Pedagogy. Her awards include the 2025 President's Teaching Excellence Award and the 2023 Victor Worsfold Outstanding Teaching Award.

Education:

• BA in Art History, Southern Methodist University (2002)

Research Interests: Focuses on the intersection of literature and war, memorialization practices, and narrative analysis. She teaches courses on American War Literature, Hemingway, and literary analysis in the Western tradition.
