Kristin J. Forbes is the Jerome and Dorothy Lemelson Professor of Management and Global Economics at MIT’s Sloan School of Management. She holds a PhD from MIT and graduated summa cum laude from Williams College. Her research focuses on international macroeconomics, monetary policy, and financial stability. She has served in senior policy roles, including External Member of the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee (2014–2017) and Member of the White House Council of Economic Advisers (2003–2005).
