Kristin Agius

Kristin Agius (She/Her/Hers) is a Lecturer in the English Department at San Francisco State University. She has taught first and second-year writing classes since 2008, focusing on supporting students' foundational academic journeys. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes creating safe, practice-oriented environments where students develop writing skills through peer review and iterative processes.

Education: B.A. in English from UC Berkeley; M.A. in English Literature and Certificates in Teaching Composition and Post-Secondary Reading from San Francisco State University.
