Kristian Evans

Dr. Kristian Evans is an Associate Professor in Mathematics at Swansea University's School of Mathematics and Computer Science. He is affiliated with the Faculty of Science and Engineering and holds an office at the Computational Foundry on the Bay Campus. His academic roles include Programme Director for Mathematics, Applied Data Science, and Actuarial Science programmes, as well as coordinating final-year projects and serving as Deputy Director of Program Assessment.

His research focuses on Analysis and Probability, particularly pseudo-differential operators and Lévy-type processes. He co-authored the multi-volume textbook series A Course in Analysis with Niels Jacob. Evans has developed new statistical teaching provisions and taught subjects like Complex Analysis, emphasizing inclusive and interactive pedagogy.
