Kristian Borch is an Associate Professor at the Department of Sustainability and Planning, Aalborg University (AAU), within the Technical Faculty of IT and Design. His research focuses on sustainable energy systems, technology assessment, and futures studies, emphasizing citizen involvement in renewable energy planning. He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Biology and multiple master's degrees in Innovation Management, Conflict Resolution, and Science.
His work integrates transdisciplinary methods like scenario planning and stakeholder engagement, with projects funded by EU and national grants.
