Kristi Haas is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Theology at the University of Notre Dame. She holds a Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from the same institution. Her research focuses on 20th-century Catholic systematic theology, particularly the thought of Louis Bouyer, and the development of Catholic ecological theology. She also explores themes of charisms and holiness in ecclesial life.
Haas completed her B.A. and M.A. at Notre Dame, followed by an M.T.S. at Boston College. Her academic career includes roles at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies and the de Nicola Center for Ethics and Culture. Currently, she serves as Associate Director of the M.A. Program and teaches courses like Foundations of Theology and Theology of Prayer.
Her publications reflect interdisciplinary engagement with historical theology and contemporary issues, such as medieval peacemaking traditions and Christological interpretations in interreligious contexts. She actively contributes to theological discourse through teaching and program leadership.
