Dr. Kristi Carter Guest is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham's College of Arts and Sciences. She serves as Disabilities Services Coordinator for the UAB Early Head Start Program and Research Coordinator for the UAB Civitan-Sparks Clinics and the UAB Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND).
Dr. Guest received her B.S. in Psychology, M.A. in Psychology, and Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Her research focuses on developmental psychology, social development, autism spectrum disorders, and infant/child development. She conducts developmental assessments for at-risk children and participates in interdisciplinary diagnostic observations for autism spectrum disorders.
Dr. Guest mentors undergraduate students through multiple honors programs and clinically supervises graduate students in Medical Psychology and Developmental Psychology at the UAB Civitan-Sparks Clinics.
