Kristen Radsliff Rebmann

Dr. Kristen Radsliff Rebmann is an Associate Professor in Library & Information Science at San José State University. She holds a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of California, San Diego (2007), a Master of Library & Information Science (2000), and a Bachelor of Science in Biology (1997). Her research examines relationships between literacy, technology, and human development, with particular focus on designing interventions to support critical multiliteracies in community-based informal learning environments.

Prior to her academic career, Dr. Rebmann worked as an academic librarian specializing in web design and instructional technology. She joined SJSU's School of Library & Information Science in fall 2007.
