Kristen Ferguson

Kristen Ferguson is Professor and Interim Associate Dean at Nipissing University's Schulich School of Education. Her research spans literacy education, teacher wellbeing, and reflective practice, with publications on stress prediction models and collaborative learning.

She investigates teacher mental health, literacy coaching efficacy, and arts-based pedagogies. Recent work examines pandemic impacts on education systems, including parental responses to school nutrition policies.

Professor Ferguson co-authored 'Literacy: Reading, Writing, and Children’s Literature' and 'Making Sense in Education,' foundational texts in teacher education programs.
