Krista Burton

Krista Burton is a Lecturer in the Department of Health and Physical Education at Mount Royal University. She holds an M.Sc. from the University of Calgary and a B.Sc. from the University of Alberta, with certifications as an Athletic Therapist (CAT(C)) and Registered Massage Therapist (RMT).

Her research and professional expertise encompass athletic therapy, exercise physiology, and athlete development across multiple levels—from youth to professional competitors. She has served as an Exercise Physiology Consultant, Laboratory Coordinator, and Research Operations Lead, with practical experience in sports injury management and performance training.
