Krishna Shrestha

Professor Krishna Shrestha is a Professor of Global Development at the School of Social Sciences, UNSW Sydney. He is a development and environmental geographer with expertise in Human Geography, Climate Change Adaptation, Disaster Risk Reduction, Indigenous Knowledge, and Environmental Governance in South Asia and Australia.

He serves as President of the Indigenous Knowledge Lab (Australia) and holds editorial roles in journals like Asia Pacific Viewpoint and Climate, Disaster and Development Journal. He is also affiliated with organizations including the American Association of Geographers and UNSW Climate Change Research Centre.
