Kris Tjaden is Professor and Associate Dean for Natural Sciences and Mathematics at University at Buffalo's College of Arts and Sciences. He directs the PhD program and leads the Motor Speech Disorders Laboratory, investigating acoustic bases of speech disorders in neurodegenerative diseases. Research focuses on Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and deep brain stimulation effects.
