Kris Franklin serves as Wallace Stevens Professor of Law at New York Law School, where she directs Academic Initiatives and co-edits the Journal of Legal Education. Her scholarship examines innovative teaching methodologies and curriculum design in legal education.
Research focuses on developing pedagogical frameworks that bridge theoretical instruction with practical skill development. Current projects investigate assessment techniques for experiential learning outcomes and resilience training for law students.
As co-director of the Initiative for Excellence in Law Teaching, she leads faculty development workshops nationally on active learning strategies and academic support frameworks.
