Dr. Kris Fox is a Professor in the Department of Health, Human Performance, and Sport at Wayne State College. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in applied human/sport physiology, exercise science, and human performance. She advises the WSC Pre-Physical Therapy/Pre-Occupational Therapy Club and Lutheran Student Fellowship.

Her research focuses on non-medicated treatments for insulin resistance, human performance recovery, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. Teaching interests include athletic training, sports medicine, nutrition, and strength and conditioning. She holds certifications as a Certified Athletic Trainer, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and Precision Nutrition Coach.
Dr. Fox previously worked as a certified athletic trainer at the Center for Neurosciences, Orthopaedics & Spine and provided outreach services to high schools and WSC Athletics. She is active in professional associations like the National Athletic Trainers' Association and National Strength and Conditioning Association.
She oversees the RHOP pre-occupational therapy program and collaborates with campus initiatives in health and wellness.
