Dr. Kranti Dugar is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s College of Business, where he teaches courses in global marketing, consumer behavior, and new product development. He holds a Ph.D. in Research Methods & Statistics (with a Marketing cognate) from the University of Denver, an M.B.A. from Ohio University, and a B.Sc. from Christ College (Bangalore University, India). His research focuses on deconsumption, equity/diversity/inclusion, technology-consumer interaction, and sustainable consumption. He leads international immersion programs, including a recent project with Afghan refugees in Wisconsin.
Dr. Dugar has received awards for teaching excellence, including the Chuck Tomkovick Award (2021) and the UW-MBA Consortium’s Outstanding Faculty Award (2024).
