Konstantina Skanavi is a Professor at the Department of Public and Community Health, School of Public Health, University of West Attica, Greece. She was appointed as the first Dean of the School of Public Health at the University of West Attica after her 2019 move from the University of the Aegean, where she directed the Laboratory of Environmental Education, Education and Communication (2000–2019) and served as Professor in the Department of Environment.
Prior to Greece, she held a Professorship at Los Angeles State University (1988–2000) in the fields of Environmental Communication, Environmental Health, and Health Education. Her academic journey began with a degree from the School of Public Health at the University of Los Angeles, California, USA.
