Konrad Bocian

Konrad Bocian is a Professor at SWPS University, holding appointments at the Faculty of Psychology in Sopot and the Department of Organizational Psychology and Marketing. He is actively affiliated with the Center for Research on Cognition and Behavior within the Institute of Psychology.

His primary research focuses on social psychology, specifically moral cognition, with expertise in egocentric distortions of moral judgments, moral conformism, and the impact of new technologies on everyday morality. Dr. Bocian investigates biases in moral judgments at both individual and group levels, moral development processes, and how digital environments influence ethical decision-making.

Dr. Bocian's scientific contributions have been recognized with prestigious awards including:

Dr. Bocian leads research initiatives at the Center for Research on Cognition and Behavior, where he explores moral psychology through innovative methodologies including virtual reality environments to study how people change their minds in ethical dilemmas.
