About
Kobe Marshall-Stevens is a J.J. Sylvester Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Johns Hopkins University. He holds a PhD from University College London (2024) under Costante Bellettini, and completed his undergraduate and master's degrees at The University of Warwick (2020).
His research focuses on geometric analysis, partial differential equations, and calculus of variations. Key interests include phase transitions, min-max theory, regularity of geometric structures, and variational methods. Recent work addresses isolated singularities in CMC hypersurfaces and gradient flows with fixed contact angles.
He has presented at institutions including Brown University, University of Tokyo, and King's College London. Teaching includes advanced courses like Honors Analysis I, Partial Differential Equations I, and Calculus on Manifolds. He maintains an active research agenda with collaborations on geometric analysis problems.
