Knut Ragnvald Skulberg is an Associate Professor at the University of Inland Norway, affiliated with the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences and the Section for Public Health. He holds a Dr. Philos in community medicine from the University of Oslo (UiO) and has expertise in occupational medicine, community medicine, and environmental medicine. His research focuses on public health challenges such as chronic disease management, aging populations, and alcohol metabolism. He leads the Healthy Energy-efficient Urban Home Ventilation project and is part of the Critical Public Health Research Group and Technology for Health and Physical Activity initiatives.
Education: PhD and Doctorate (Dr. Philos) in Community Medicine from UiO.
Research Interests: Public health interventions, environmental health impacts, and clinical studies on substance metabolism. Recent work includes mixed-methods studies on loneliness in older adults with chronic diseases and alcohol metabolism pathways.
