Dr. Klaus Woelk serves as Associate Professor in Chemistry and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education at Missouri University of Science and Technology. His research expertise spans nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy and imaging, NMR relaxometry, and chemical catalysis.
With over 60 peer-reviewed publications and multiple patents, Dr. Woelk received the R&D 100 Award for developing toroid-cavity NMR technology. His administrative leadership includes roles as Department Chair and Interim Chair, complemented by excellence in teaching recognized through multiple awards including the University of Missouri System's inaugural President's Award for Innovative Teaching.
