Prof. Kirsten Rohde holds dual professorships in Behavioral Economics at Erasmus School of Economics (Erasmus University Rotterdam) and Microeconomics at Maastricht University. She serves as a Fellow of the Tinbergen Institute, ERIM member, and Associate Editor for Management Science. Past roles include Vice Dean for Research at ESE, Associate Director of ERIM, and leadership in the Organization, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship group.
Her research focuses on time, social, and risk preferences, analyzing their interplay with health behaviors through decision-theoretical and empirical frameworks. Teaching includes Advanced Behavioral Economics (Master), Economics of Negotiations (Master), and Introduction to Behavioral Economics (Bachelor).
Awarded Tinbergen Institute Fellowship, she combines academic leadership with policy-relevant research, such as analyzing societal responses to the Dutch corona crisis as a social dilemma.
