Kiran K G Ravindran

Dr. Kiran K G Ravindran is a Research Fellow at the Surrey Sleep Research Centre, University of Surrey, and the UK DRI Care Research & Technology Centre at Imperial College London. He holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from IIT Madras, where his work focused on low-cost EEG hardware and Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI). His current research investigates sleep physiology in aging and dementia, emphasizing the evaluation of consumer sleep technologies (e.g., wearables, contactless devices) for clinical and home-based monitoring. Key areas include sleep electrophysiology, digital health tools, signal processing, and AI-driven solutions for real-world sleep assessment challenges.
