Dr. Kira O. McCabe is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Carleton University, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Groningen. Her research focuses on two primary areas: the integration of personality and motivation in goal pursuit, and the prediction of career success, health, and well-being through individual differences. She explores how personality traits function as tools to achieve goals (e.g., extraversion aiding social goals) and investigates long-term outcomes of intellectual precocity in STEM fields.
