Kingsley Abbott

Professor Kingsley Abbott is a legal scholar and practitioner with over two decades of experience in international criminal law, human rights law, and transitional justice. He currently serves as the Director of the Institute of Commonwealth Studies, where he leads interdisciplinary research initiatives. His career spans roles in international tribunals, including Trial Counsel at the Special Tribunal for Lebanon and Senior Legal Adviser at the Khmer Rouge Tribunal, as well as advocacy work with the International Commission of Jurists in Thailand.
