Kinga Litowska

Kinga Litowska is a Polish conductor and educator who graduated from the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz with a degree in Music Theory and Postgraduate Choirmaster Studies. She earned a Doctor of Arts degree in 2005 and a postdoctoral degree in musical arts (conducting) in 2017. Currently, she serves as an assistant professor at the Gażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź and was director of the Karol Szymanowski Complex of Music Schools in Toruń.

• Artistic Roles: Conductor and co-founder of the Astrolabium Choir (since 1999), Artistic Director of the Nicolaus Copernicus International Choir Festival (since 2013)

Her research and artistic interests center on choral conducting, vocal-instrumental collaborations, and contemporary choral composition. She has premiered works by Polish and international composers and expanded choral music education through festivals and recordings.
