Kimberly Tryon is an Assistant Professor (currently on leave) in the Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences at the University of Saskatchewan's Western College of Veterinary Medicine. She holds a DVM from the University of Missouri-Columbia, an MVetSc from USask, and completed a medical imaging residency. Board-eligible for the American College of Veterinary Radiology, her research focuses on MRI applications in degenerative myelopathy and lumbosacral diseases.
Dr. Tryon's publications span neurological disorders, equine developmental conditions, and MRI technology fundamentals. Recent work includes diagnosing intranasal melanoma in dogs (2017) and neonatal renal dysplasia in foals (2015). She develops imaging protocols for spinal pathologies and educates veterinary students in radiological techniques.
