Dr. Kimberly Olszewski serves as an Associate Professor in the Graduate Nursing Department at the Breiner School of Nursing, Bloomsburg University, where she held the Breiner Family Endowed Professorship of Nursing from 2019-2023. Previously, she directed the Nurse Practitioner and Doctorate in Nursing (DNP) programs while serving as graduate program coordinator.
Her educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Lycoming College, a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with community health clinical nurse specialist and adult nurse practitioner specializations from Bloomsburg University, and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Chatham University.
With 35 years of clinical experience in occupational medicine, Dr. Olszewski's research focuses on commercial driver physical fitness standards and evidence-based clinical practice protocols. Her expertise has shaped national occupational health guidelines through publications in the AAOHN Core Curriculum and presentations at international conferences.
