Kimberly Lynn

Kimberly Lynn is a Professor at Western Washington University and Director of the Honors College. She specializes in the history of early modern Europe and the Iberian world, focusing on empire, religion, and cultural intersections.

• PhD in History from Johns Hopkins University

Her research utilizes archives in Spain, Italy, and Mexico City, analyzing inquisitorial careerism to understand early modern empires. She is author of Between Court and Confessional (2013) and editor of The Early Modern Hispanic World (2017).
