Dr. Kimberley Freire is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Health Policy & Behavioral Sciences Department at Georgia State University's School of Public Health. She teaches courses in the DrPH and MPH programs and serves as an advisor for DrPH students. With over 20 years of public health experience, she previously worked at the CDC for 13 years as Evaluation Lead and in the Division of Violence Prevention.
Her research focuses on violence prevention, dissemination & implementation science, evaluation of complex public health strategies, community-based data utilization for quality improvement and social change, and organizational learning models. Her work bridges scientific research with practical applications in federal, state, and local government settings.
