Kimberley Brioux

Kimberley Brioux is a Lecturer in Developmental Psychology at the Université Catholique de l’Ouest (UCO Niort), affiliated with the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences. She holds a Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Toulouse - Jean Jaurès (2019). Her research focuses on three core areas: conceptualization of transition competencies from secondary to higher education, analysis of parental attitudes toward guidance, and updating developmental trajectories of orientation practices. She actively contributes to educational policy through collaborative research projects and curriculum development initiatives.

As an educational manager, she oversees Year 3 programs at UCO Niort and serves as the internship manager. She plays a pivotal role in institutional projects like the 'Référentiels Avenir(s)' framework for career management skills. Her work integrates action research methodologies to assess competency frameworks and policy implementation, particularly in secondary and higher education contexts.

Brioux has co-led multiple national and international programs, including the PIA ETOILE regional academic project and the 'Conception d’un e-portfolio pour le cursus LMD en psychologie' initiative. She regularly presents at conferences across Europe, addressing topics like intergenerational living, gender influences on career paths, and adaptive orientation strategies for diverse student populations.
