Kim Petrone is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting at the Walton College of Business, University of Arkansas. She holds a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law and a B.A. from Southern Methodist University. Since joining the college in 2014, she coordinates over 20 sections of Legal Environment of Business and teaches online Commercial Transactions courses for graduate students.
Her research focuses on litigation related to consumer debt, with a specific emphasis on credit card debt buyer lawsuits. She has developed three online courses and contributed to discussions on digital education at university and academic gatherings. Kim has also taught summer programs in Northern Italy through CIMBA.
