Kim N. Ha

Kim N. Ha is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. The lab focuses on understanding the interplay between protein structure, dynamics, and function through biochemical techniques and solution-state NMR spectroscopy.

Research Interests: The laboratory investigates mutations in cardiac membrane proteins like phospholamban (PLN) and adipocyte lipid chaperones such as fatty acid binding protein 4 (FABP4). Students gain hands-on experience in recombinant protein expression, isolation, and characterization.
