Kiki Fornero

Kiki Fornero serves as an Associate Professor and Director of both the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) and Master's Entry into Nursing Practice (MEPN) Programs at Linfield University's School of Nursing, while also directing the Simulation program. With over a decade of experience since 2012, she is deeply committed to nursing education and student development through rigorous academic support and innovative teaching methodologies.

Her academic credentials include:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Central Oklahoma
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Oklahoma
• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Oregon Health & Science University

Dr. Fornero's research critically examines healthcare structures to dismantle barriers and advance equity for individuals in larger bodies. She champions weight-neutral healthcare approaches through curriculum development and educational advocacy, aiming to transform nursing practice toward greater inclusivity and social justice. Her work bridges theoretical frameworks with practical application in clinical settings.
