Kieran Orr

Kieran Orr is a Stanford Energy Postdoctoral Fellow in the Chueh Group at Stanford University's School of Engineering, where he also collaborates with the Lindenberg Group. He joined Stanford from the United Kingdom in July 2024.

His research focuses on understanding the structure of ion-hopping transition states in solid electrolytes using ultra-fast X-ray diffraction and spectroscopic methods. He previously investigated halide perovskites for solar energy applications during his PhD under Prof. Sam Stranks.
