Kieran Howard is a funded PhD candidate in Modern Languages and Cultures at the University of Sheffield. His research focuses on Germany's engagement with its colonial past through literary works by Black German writers and authors from former African colonies. He has presented lectures on the module MDL117 Resist! The Art of Protest in Berlin and Amsterdam.
