Dr. Kiera Ladner holds the Canada Research Chair in Miyo we'citowin, Indigenous Governance and Digital Sovereignties (Tier 1) at the University of Manitoba, supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) since 2018. Her work focuses on decolonization, Indigenous self-determination, and transformative reconciliation following TRC recommendations. She collaborates internationally with Indigenous communities in Australia and New Zealand.
