Khonika Gope

Dr. Khonika Gope is Assistant Professor of Management at the University of Oregon's Lundquist College of Business. Her research examines how institutional contexts shape entrepreneurial outcomes, with focus on accelerator impacts, opportunity recognition, and gender dynamics.

She employs mixed methods to analyze entrepreneurial training effectiveness, career trajectories of founders, and institutional barriers facing underrepresented entrepreneurs. Her work challenges conventional narratives about female founder motivation and performance.

Recipient of multiple awards including a Fulbright Scholarship and Stanford Centennial Teaching Award, she developed curriculum on technology entrepreneurship and venture creation. She bridges academic research with practice through industry collaborations in Southeast Asia and the United States.
