Dr. Kevin Walker is an Associate Professor of Politics in the School of Arts & Sciences at the University of Mary. He earned his PhD in political science from Claremont Graduate University with a dissertation on the Supreme Court in the Progressive Era.
His research examines the intersection of education and political philosophy, the relationship between universities and American politics, Supreme Court jurisprudence, and American political development. Dr. Walker views political education as essential to liberal arts formation that cultivates virtue, civil discourse, and pursuit of the common good.
His scholarship explores how political philosophy informs university education while analyzing historical and contemporary interactions between educational institutions and political systems.
