Kevin Resnick

Kevin Resnick is a film instructor at Georgia Gwinnett College with a distinguished career spanning military service, acting, and filmmaking. A former U.S. Air Force officer and C-130 Navigator, he transitioned to acting in New York where he received four Best Actor nominations at national film festivals before establishing himself as an award-winning writer and director.

His educational background includes a Master's degree in filmmaking from the New York Film Academy.

Resnick's creative work focuses on narrative film production with emphasis on comedy and character-driven storytelling. His short films "On Becoming A Man and Doodles" achieved international distribution through Shorts International, while his feature film "Cloudy With a Chance of Sunshine" won Best Feature Film at the Manhattan Film Festival and screened at Cannes among other prestigious venues. He actively contributes to film education through Georgia Gwinnett College and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art's Veterans Make Movies program.
