Kevin R. Carriere

Kevin R. Carriere is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Stonehill College researching cultural political psychology. His work examines how threat perception influences human rights policies and collective action, informed by his experience as a Congressional policy advisor.

Research focuses on:

• Meta-perception in political polarization
• Corporate social activism effects

Recent work includes meta-analyses on threat-based rights restrictions and experimental studies on dehumanization reduction techniques. His book 'Psychology in Policy' establishes a framework for cultural political psychology.
