Kevin Obsatz

Kevin Obsatz is an Assistant Professor in Media Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He holds an MFA in Fine Art from the University of Minnesota (2015) and a BA in Film Production from the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts (2001).

His work has received funding from the Warhol Foundation, Jerome Foundation, and Minnesota State Arts Board. Obsatz co-founded the experimental film collective Cellular Cinema in 2014, serving as its artistic director. His films have been exhibited internationally at venues such as Anthology Film Archives, San Francisco Cinematheque, and Walker Art Center.
