Kevin Taweel is Lecturer in Management at Stanford Graduate School of Business, bringing extensive entrepreneurial experience as CEO/Co-founder of Lumo Bodytech and TuitionCoach. He previously served as Director of Product Management at Meta and worked in Mergers & Acquisitions at Salomon Brothers. Mr. Taweel holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University.
His teaching focuses on managing growing enterprises and entrepreneurship, drawing from fifteen years of experience building technology protection company Asurion from 40 to over 10,000 employees. Research interests center on startup development, corporate innovation strategies, and technology commercialization.
Case studies emphasize organizational development during scaling phases, strategic pivots, and operational challenges in service industries, with recurring themes of innovation implementation and market positioning.
