Kevin Hauswirth

Kevin Hauswirth is an Adjunct Instructor of Marketing at the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago, where he teaches integrated marketing communications. He brings extensive real-world experience as the founder of Hauswirth/co (HausCo), a strategic communications firm focused on progressive causes, nonprofit organizations, and inclusive brand campaigns.

His expertise lies in digital-first campaign design, simplifying complex issues for public engagement, and driving social change through strategic messaging. He has been recognized as a Notable LGBTQ Executive by Crain’s Chicago Business and named to The Advocate’s 40 Under 40 list for his leadership in advocacy and media. His work spans government, nonprofit, and corporate sectors, including serving as Chicago’s first head of digital communications under the Mayor.

Hauswirth is also an educator and public speaker, contributing to academic and professional discourse on marketing and inclusion. He serves on the Board of Trustees at Adler University and was the executive producer of the documentary ART AND PEP, highlighting LGBTQ rights pioneers. His teaching and practice emphasize representation, inclusivity, and socially responsible communication.
