Kevin Hatcher

Kevin Hatcher is a Lecturer in the Department of Exercise & Sport Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, with over 24 years of expertise in sport management and athletic administration. He currently teaches courses such as Sport Sociology, Sport Management, and Current Issues in Sports.

Research/Professional Focus: Specializes in intercollegiate athletics governance, NCAA compliance, and leadership in higher education athletics. Active in roles such as former President of the California Collegiate Athletic Association and Chair of the NCAA West Region Basketball Committee. Contributed to Athletic Business and Athletic Management magazines as an editorial board member and writer.
