Kevin D. White

Kevin D. White is a Part-Time Professor in the Department of Civil, Coastal, and Environmental Engineering at the University of South Alabama, College of Engineering. His work focuses on wastewater management, stormwater treatment, and sustainable development systems.

Dr. White's research addresses critical challenges in decentralized wastewater treatment, including pharmaceutical contaminant fate, engineered wetland systems, and low-impact development. He emphasizes practical applications for water reuse and highway runoff mitigation.

His recent publications highlight interdisciplinary approaches to chemical spill impacts, wastewater cluster management, and natural treatment systems. These works span environmental toxicology, sustainable engineering, and regional water resource challenges.
