Dr. Kevin Brenner is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Material Science Engineering at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), affiliated with the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Tech and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University. His research focuses on thermal and electrical energy transport, phonon/electron dynamics, and advanced materials for energy-efficient technologies. He leads a lab (ECSW 4.470) specializing in material characterization under extreme temperatures (77 K to 1773 K), thermal conductivity measurements, and nanoscale device fabrication.
