Ketan Ramakrishnan

Ketan Ramakrishnan is an Associate Professor of Law at Yale Law School, part of Yale University. He holds a D.Phil. from the University of Oxford (2021), a J.D. from Yale Law School (2021), and an A.B. in Philosophy from Harvard College (2013). His research focuses on torts, artificial intelligence governance, contracts, property law, constitutional theory, and the intersection of moral and legal philosophy. His work has been published in prestigious journals such as the Harvard Law Review and University of Chicago Law Review.

He serves as the Associate Reporter for the American Law Institute's Principles of Civil Liability for Artificial Intelligence project. His teaching includes courses on liability and regulation at the frontier of AI development, private law theory, and torts and regulation. His scholarship bridges legal frameworks with emerging technologies and ethical dimensions of governance.
