Dr. Ketan Parmar is a Lecturer in Postgraduate Optometry at The University of Manchester, specializing in autism and vision accessibility. He holds a PhD (2022) and MSc (2018) in Optometry from the same institution. His research focuses on optimizing eyecare for autistic adults, visual stress, and medical retina. He currently leads the IOVS Research Dissertation unit and co-supervises a PhD student. His teaching spans undergraduate and postgraduate courses including Binocular Vision, Medical Retina, and Qualitative Research Methods. He is the Optometry CPD Lead, organizing workshops and examinations.
